Hidden Nights

We are still not the ones that were meant to live. Fate owes no one a happy ending.

Poem: These Scarlet Tears

poem-these-scarlet-tears

Do you think I do not cry,
at night alone in bed?
And do you think I do not feel
the pain inside my head?

Just because you see no tears,
Rolling down my cheeks.
Doesn’t mean that they aren’t there,
it means you are too blind to see.

The tears I cry are scarlet red,
but from my eyes they do not seep.
Although they arise while I’m alone and you sleep.
Scarlet red stains my soft skin,
while the guilty blade sits in sin.

Don’t blame it, Don’t blame me,
you drove me to this madness.
These bloody pools of sin.
This pain I do no longer feel,
Scarlet tears from my skin.

Poem: City Streets

poem-city-streets

Dark cold streets filled with hate,
and tall buildings made of cold slate.
Walls stained with paints from cans,
darkness will never sleep in this land.

Where children cry and live in pain,
where people seem to have gone insane.
Where hurting hands from fighting gangs,
ignore the weak’s despair.

And broken glass hides in the grass to
wait to find its prey.
Of crimson blood to stain is stalks,
to blend with the blood stained streets of grey….
